Bold Wedding Color Palettes For The Modern Bride

Are you in the process of planning your wedding at Pine Lake Ranch? Time and time again we hear couples say they want their wedding to be unique. One way to achieve this is with a color palette that strays from tradition. Check out some of our favorite edgy wedding color palettes that still look modern and elegant.

Navy Blue, Emerald & Blush

For a unique jewel-toned wedding palette, use navy blue and emerald for your main colors. Since most brides put the emphasis on fuschia, your palette will stand out. Speckle in touches of blush and a light blue to lighten the look. You can also dot your wedding flowers or reception table with crimson.

Rust, Cream & Burgundy

A palette perfect for the fall is rust, cream and burgundy. With warm orange tones, it is especially beautiful for an outdoor event. This combo works well for a retro or vintage-inspired wedding, a well as an edgy modern event. Add in more neutral tones for a more toned down look, or vibrant shades like teal for a twist.

Cerulean, Fuschia & Peach

A chic Mediteranean inspired palette is cerulean, fuschia and peach. This combination is especially popular for the springtime, like an outdoor garden wedding or an airy indoor event. Think of a table with crisp white linens, a bold cerulean runner and pink hued flowers. You can also add in some bright greenery for freshness.

Desert Rose, French Lilac & Wisteria

This color scheme is for the romantics at heart. With a mix of rich pinks and pastel purples, you’ll have a memorable wedding look. It is a feminine palette that is especially popular for brides interested in mix and match bridesmaid dresses. If you want more color, you can add in a soft yellow or coral. You might even toss in a bright orange!

Coral, Kelly Green & White

A fun his and hers palette, coral and kelly green are the perfect mix of light and dark. It gives off a slightly tropical look, perfect for the chic or preppy bride. Although these colors are often associated with the springtime, they can be used well into late summer. If you prefer a lighter palette, use white and gold as your main colors with coral and kelly green for statement colors.

Orange, Mustard & Green

If you prefer a more natural palette, consider orange, mustard and green. These colors look stunning yet are rarely featured together. We imagine a focus on green, with fresh greenery in various shades. Use orange and mustard as statement colors, for your flowers or the bridesmaid dresses. You might even put your groom in a fun colored suit.

Slate Blue, Marigold & Peach

Slate blue has been an especially popular color this year. Pair it with marigold and peach for a bright modern palette. These colors are all so different and yet look beautiful side by side. Use slate blue for your main color, such as table runners and the bridesmaid dress. Then pop in marigold and peach via flowers, napkins and other small details.
