Interactive Wedding Elements that Guest’s Approve

Give your guests something to  ooh and aah over with a fun interactive element! The perfect way to impress at your reception, these guest-approved ideas range from tasty, to fun and simply creative.

A Champagne Wall

Make a fun first impression at your reception with a champagne wall. Typically made using a boxwood hedge wall, it can hold a number of pre-made champagne drinks. This grab and go style bar will be convenient, not to mention super cute!

A Coffee Cart

Coffee is a must-have if you plan on keeping the dance floor open until late. Check out the Nightowl Coffee Cart! A mobile craft coffee and cocktail bar, they will serve up an elevated beverage experience for your wedding. Create a custom menu for your guest to choose from featuring made-to-order drinks. Include classic favorites, like lattes and mochas, or a unique flavor, like lavender. Looking for something a little stronger? Grizzaffi Coffee of Houston offers a Gourmet Espresso Bar experience your guests will love. They have all of your favorite seasonal flavors, plus a selection of tasty pastries!

Cigars

For a cigar lover, a fresh hand-rolled cigar is the best way to celebrate. Even better, this ‘art’ makes for a neat form of entertainment. Rolling fresh Cuban cigars, the Cigar Butler has been serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 2000. This is a truly unique way to add an interactive element to your event, whether or not everyone can partake. They even offer custom cigar labels for an extra touch of class, or should you like to keep a cigar as a keepsake.

A Bounce Castle

Contrary to belief, bounce castles are not just for kids. A whole heap of fun, you can keep this activity classy by opting for a rental that is pure white. It also makes for a super cute and funny photo op! Consider keeping a few (bouncy castle safe) props nearby for guests to use.

Classic Board Game Centerpieces

If flowers aren’t your forte, consider using board games for table centerpieces. Try to stick to classics that everyone will know and love, like Checkers, Mancala, Yahtzee, and Scrabble. Board games are a sure fire way to get guests socializing, plus keep everyone entertained. This will be appreciated if you plan on having a longer than normal cocktail hour, or will have a buffet style dinner.

Flower Crown Station

Perfect for warm-weather weddings during the Spring or Summer, a flower crown station will be a hit. Easy to set up and relatively affordable, it will get guests on their feet and allow some creativity to flow. To make it even more fun, have a competition for who can make the best crown. You can allow the guests to take part in the vote and have an award for the winner.

A Grazing Table

Grazing tables and platters have been all the rage as of late. Guests love a snack prior to dinner, plus it is a great way to encourage socializing. Based out of Aubrey, Gather & Graze Events offers a variety of box, platter and board options. Their vibrant displays of sweet morsels and savory antipasti favorites are sure to spark conversations and satisfy all taste buds. Did we mention that grazing tables look stunning?
